This service is available at selected airports if you’re flying within the EU. Ask in store for more information.

Reserve before you fly and collect in store

Currently our full product ranges are not displayed on this site, but if you are looking for something specific, contact one of our stores and we will be happy to help. You can reserve items up to 7 or 14 days before you fly.  The reservation period will vary by airport. Please visit the airport website for further details. Reservations need to be made a minimum of 24 hours before your flight.
Call our store team now to check the latest prices and reserve a product. We’ll have it ready to collect when you fly.

As all Reserve before you fly sales take place in our stores, they are subject to the normal in store terms of sale, statutory rights and Store Manager’s discretion. You will not be asked to pay until you collect the goods from your chosen store on products that you have reserved online before your flight. Products cannot be purchased online.

Sometimes mistakes happen and we unintentionally publish inaccurate information on the site, such as description, price or availability of a product. In this instance, we may have to cancel your reservation at any time up to the point of collection, even if you have received verbal confirmation from the store of the reservation.

Convenient delivery

If you don’t want to take the item with you, we can arrange for delivery to your home or office.  Store purchases are subject to different delivery options and charges. Please ask in store for details.

Lowest Price Guarantee

Every weekday we check the prices of identical products (including delivery) that are in stock on Amazon.co.uk, JohnLewis.co.ukArgos.co.uk, jessops.com and harveynorman.ie challenge us today. Applies to all electrical products over £30. Excludes Health and Well-being products, electrical product accessories and travel accessories. Excludes Black Friday promotions, Boxing Day, membership only prices and third party sellers. Double the difference will be discounted off our price instantly at the till, example; our price £300 (€300), competitor price £295 (€295), you pay £290 (€290).

Dixons Travel in Oslo International Terminal operates Tax Free pricing.  If you have a permanent residence outside of Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland), you are entitled to a 20% VAT refund on purchases over 315kr. The discount is applied instantly at the till. Customers must be leaving Scandinavia within 24 hours to claim the discount.

In Oslo Domestic Terminal we commit to offering ‘always low prices’. If you find it cheaper challenge us today.

If you choose to reserve before you fly, we promise to honour the reservation price or the in store price, whichever is less.

Returns policy

If you change your mind and would like to return your product, we’re happy to exchange or refund it as long as:

(1) The product is in its original unopened and sealed packaging.

(2) You return it within 21 days of purchase date to any Dixons Travel or Currys PC World store in the UK. If you purchased your item in ROI you will need to return the item to a Dixons Travel or Currys PC World store in ROI. If you purchased in Oslo you will need to contact the Oslo store to return the item. In Oslo you have 50 days after purchase to return your item. If you purchased your item on the Ventura Cruise Ship you can return your item within 21 days by contacting pandoservices.com.

(3) You have proof of purchase such as the original receipt or bank statement.

If your product develops a fault within the first 30 days (50 days in Oslo) after purchase, we’ll always offer you the choice of an exchange or refund in line with our returns policy. Visit any Dixons Travel or Currys PC World store in the UK, ROI or Oslo. If your product develops a fault during the remaining guarantee period we’ll provide a prompt and professional resolution. If we refer you to the product manufacturer for service or repair, this is because they are our agents for the products and have been chosen because they are best placed to help our customers with queries.

For items purchased from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, London City, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Oslo airports, please refer to the individual airport’s website for further details on returns as their returns period is longer.

For a refund or exchange, the product must be in otherwise ‘as new’ condition, complete with any accessories, free gifts, manuals and be in the original box and packaging.

If your product develops a fault…

Should you suspect a fault with your product, you can read the troubleshooting section of the product manual as it may be a common problem that can be easily resolved. Depending on the product, we may be able to take you through a telephone diagnostic to make sure it is not a problem that can be resolved quickly.

If your product develops a fault within the first 30 days after purchase in UK (50 days in Oslo) we’ll always offer you the choice of an exchange or a refund in line with our returns policy.

Once we have determined there is a fault we will then give you an exchange or full refund plus any delivery charge paid. However, we do have the right to retain any charge paid for services that have already begun or have been completed.

If your product develops a fault during the remaining guarantee period we’ll provide a prompt and professional resolution. It may be that we refer you to the product manufacturer’s own service teams for the repair as they have skilled and qualified engineers that are best placed to help with faults and problems.

If a repair service isn’t available for your product, we will offer you a replacement.

Please bring your faulty product to a Dixons Travel, or Currys PC World store with your proof of purchase so that we can help resolve the fault by arranging a repair. Alternatively call Customer Services on +44 (0) 344 561 1234 with your receipt to hand so we can arrange collection and repair of your faulty product. If a fault occurs while you are abroad, please contact us to discuss how we can assist.

In all cases, we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault. We do not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

If a DVD, CD, or software item is faulty under guarantee we will happily exchange it for the same title or offer a refund.
This returns policy does not affect your legal rights. Details of your legal rights are available from Trading Standards or Citizens Advice Consumer Service.

Under EU Regulations we are required to provide consumers with an electronic link to the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform. You can submit a complaint via the Online Dispute Resolution platform, which can be found at http://ec.europa.eu

Age restrictions

Some of our products have a minimum age requirement such as computer games. By ordering from us, you confirm that you are of the required age. Your age may be checked using 192.com.

Recycling

Electrical equipment

Recycling unwanted electrical products is better for the environment. Lead and other toxins contained in electrical goods can cause soil and water contamination, which can have a detrimental effect on the natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. When situated near populated areas these toxins can cause problems to communities as their water and soil becomes polluted.

Many of the electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save natural resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending waste electrical goods to landfill.

If you have any electrical equipment that you want to recycle, please take it to any Currys PC World or Dixons Travel store for disposal. Dixons Travel stores recycle selected items only.

Please note, if you recycle a product that holds personal data such as a desktop PC, laptop, smartphone or tablet, you need to remove all information and data from the device beforehand as we will not remove it.

Batteries

We are responsible for the collection, treatment and recycling of waste batteries. You’ll find recycling bins for batteries in all Currys PC World stores and selected Dixons Travel stores, so you can deposit your used portable batteries in store.

We accept the following batteries:
– AA or AAA batteries
– Batteries used in mobile phones or laptops
– Batteries fixed to the motherboard of a personal computer or laptop
– Batteries found in wristwatches

Sorry, we don’t accept the following batteries:
– Industrial batteries
– Automotive batteries
If you require information on how to recycle these types of batteries, contact your supplier or local council.
