The Dixons Travel Family

We have over 500 colleagues that work across our store estate. We have an extremely loyal, experienced and established workforce.

We communicate openly and honestly with our workforce through a variety of channels and use a balanced scorecard to ask people how they feel about working for Dixons Travel. Colleague feedback shapes overall company strategy and helps us make the right decisions, recognize success and make our company a great place to work and do business with. In Dixons Travel our workforce feel engaged and enabled and score above the retail norm.

We hold colleague roadshows twice a year where we invite our key suppliers to meet with our store colleagues to update on the key new products, business strategies as well as giving our suppliers the opportunity for our store colleagues to feedback what our customers are saying about their products.

Inclusion & Diversity

At Dixons Travel we understand the many benefits of an inclusive and diverse workforce. We build teams that reflect our customers both in the UK and overseas and we encourage our colleagues to use their personal knowledge to improve the experience of our customers.

We invest over 3,800 hours a year in training our colleagues on the products we range to ensure we provide our customers with the knowledge to understand the key features and benefits to enable our customers to make the right choice and to get the most out of their product.

Formal training, on the job experience and management coaching are provided to help our people grow their careers, deliver our business strategy and become experts customers can trust. Regular face to face meetings and a formal review twice a year provide platforms to discuss performance and further development. High achievers are also offered talent and leadership development programmes.
